Eric Gordon could return to action on Tuesday, when the Houston Rockets face the San Antonio Spurs.
Gordon sprained his ankle during one of the Rockets’ scrimmage games and was out since then.
The head coach of Houston, Mike D’Antoni, did not confirm Gordon’s return, but is optimistic he will suit back up.
“Obviously, we’ll have to wait and see. We’ll go through shootaround (on Monday) and see how it feels. It’s looking likely. Every day he’s getting better. We hope he starts shooting tomorrow, or the next day.
Pretty soon, he’ll be back. We don’t want to push him, and we have time. But we’d like him to hit the floor once or twice before the playoffs start,” per Ben DuBose of USA Today.
