T.J. Warren of the Indiana Pacers has been a pleasant surprise for his team. The 26-year-old forward is averaging 34.8 points per game in the Orlando bubble. Not only that. Warren is also making 55% of his three-pointers. This season, Warren is averaging 19.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game this season.
The performances of the Pacers guard came to an attention of Mychal Thompson, father of the Golden State Warriors star Klay. The two-time NBA champion shared his impressions on Twitter.
“We all need to find out wat TJ Warren is eating in the Bubble bcuz this dude has turned into a Fax immily (however u spell it) of Kobe Jordan and KD…Yall see how EASY he’s scoring in the Bubble? He shud never wanna leev the Bubble,” Thompson tweeted.
“Warrens stats in the Bubble…34 a game…60% shooting and FIFTY FIVE%…FROM THREE!!! Cmon man…that makes no sense…How is that possible?” he added.
