A win by the Houston Rockets over the Milwaukee Bucks yesterday in Orlando ignited talks whether they can be a contender this season. According to sports analyst Chris Broussard, the Rockets are the third best team in the West behind the Lakers and Clippers.

Should Houston progress to the second round from the fourth position that they are occupying now in the Western Conference, they are likely to meet the Lakers. Broussard thinks that is where the Rockets’ playoff run would end. However, in his opinion, they would have a better chance against the Lakers than against the Clippers.

“The Rockets problem is they won’t beat one of the LA teams. … Between the Lakers and the Clippers, which team would the Rockets have a better chance of beating? The Lakers,” Broussard said.
