The Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr admitted he handled poorly the situation with Daryl Morey and China at the start of the season.
Kerr has repeatedly expressed his views on various social matters, regularly criticizing the United States administration under President Donald Trump.
In an interview with Candace Buckner of the Washington Post, Kerr said he doesn’t feel right on not vocally defending Morey during the NBA-China controversy.
A crisis erupted over Rockets general manager Daryl Morey, who tweeted support for Hong Kong protesters, something that put the NBA’s relationship with China in jeopardy.
