Dion Waiters re-joined LeBron James after 5 years. The 28-year-old shooting guard was LeBron’s teammate in the first half of the 2014-2015 season before getting traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Since then, Waiters has come a long way. He admitted to being stubborn back then, but now things are different.

“Just them things now that I didn’t probably understand when I was young. When you’re young, you’re still trying to find yourself coming into the league,” Waiters said, per Dave McMenamin of ESPN. “I think Bron was trying to help me with that but I was so stubborn back then. But, I understand now. I’m 28. I’ve done been through a lot. I’m at peace with myself, though. So, I’m good.”

Waiters and the Lakers are targeting a championship this season. The Purple & Gold are currently sitting atop the Western Conference.
