Reportedly, there is support for Mike Woodson and Mike Miller in the New York Knicks organization to join the coaching staff for next season.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Saturday that the Knicks were making a five-year deal to make Tom Thibodeau their new manager.

According to SNY’s Ian Begley, there is “strong internal support” for Woodson and Miller to play secondary roles under Thibodeau.

Woodson was the head coach of the Knicks from March 2012 until the 2013-14 season, while Miller was the interim head coach of New York City this season following David Fizdale’s layoff. Both Woodson and Miller also interviewed for the Knicks’ coaching vacancy.
