It has previously been reported that Kostas Sloukas will not continue playing for Fenerbahce and that Olympiacos will bring back the player to Greece. Sloukas’ return to Olympiacos is closer than ever and it is just a matter of time for the experienced guard to come back home and join Olympiacos. Sloukas and Olympiacos have won two Euroleague titles together with the fans wanting a third one.
According to Nikos Varlas of Eurohoops, the deal between the two sides is done and we are just missing Olympiacos’ official announcement. Sloukas and Fenerbahce will not continue together and the club will soon release the player. Sloukas is already in Athens to sign his new contract with the team from Piraeus, which will reportedly be 2+1 years long.
