Los Angeles Lakers superstar Anthony Davis is one of the top candidates to win the Defensive Player of the Year award. The 27-year-old forward spoke about his impact in defense and about his case for the award.
“I don’t have a case. I let my teammates decide and the fans decide. I just go out there play hard every night. My biggest impact that I think that I have is defensively I love playing defense, I love stopping other players, making it tough for all the other players. This is my case in a nutshell,” Davis said.
This season, AD is averaging 26.7 points, 9.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 2.4 blocks and 1.4 steals per game for the Lakers.
