Ricky Rubio, Aron Baynes, Elie Okobo and Jalen Lecque didn’t make the initial trip to Orlando with the Phoenix Suns on July 7.

Those four players still haven’t practiced with the team as of July 19 and also haven’t done any Zoom interviews from the “bubble,” according to Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic.

All other Suns players have reportedly done an interview from Orlando except Rubio, Baynes, Okobo and Lecque.

The Suns are scheduled to practice on July 21 and will play their first of three scrimmages against the Utah Jazz on July 23.

That practice and scrimmage could be an indicator to see if those players are with the team.

In late June, it was reported that two Suns players tested positive for coronavirus.

Baynes, Okobo and Lecque were three of eight Suns players to participate in voluntary workouts at the team’s practice facility before traveling to Orlando, so while it’s unknown, it’s possible that the delayed arrivals for those three players plus Rubio could be related to COVID-19.

Suns head coach Monty Williams hasn’t verified who isn’t with the team due to medical privacy reasons.

“I’m not going to talk about who’s here, who’s not here,” Williams said. “It’s a tough one for me because medically, I can’t talk about stuff. That’s where I just have to leave it. You guys (the media) know me. I don’t ever want to be rude to you guys. I understand you have a job to do, but there’s a limit on what I can talk about.”
