The San Antonio Spurs forward Trey Lyles will be out for the remainder of the season, as Gregg Popovich announced today.

Lyles suffered an appendicitis becoming the second big man of the Spurs, who will not play in season restart, after LaMarcus Aldridge.

According to Jeff Garcia of News4SA:

“We just lost Trey to an appendicitis today,” Popovich told reporters during a video conference. “We’re down a little bit.”

Said Popovich: “He’s done. He’s out.”

The Spurs will move toward the season restart without Lyles, who averaged  6.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.1 assists in 68 games this season.
