Kawhi Leonard didn’t follow the Los Angeles Clippers to Orlando, according to Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes.

Leonard has been given permission by the team to attend to a family matter and he will join the rest of his teammates in few days, according to Haynes.

The Clippers departed for Orlando on Wednesday for the NBA season restart, which will take place at Disney World.

The “Claw” is a vital part of the Clippers’ bid for an NBA championship this season, having his best regular season in his career.

In particular, he averaged 26.9 points, 5 assists and 7.3 rebounds per contest in 51 games, until the shut down back in March.
