Mitchell Robinson has had an impressive season with the New York Knicks. In just two seasons, he has already developed into one of the league’s best shot blockers.

He averaged 2.4 blocks per game as a rookie and two blocks per game this season. Today, the Knicks showed their appreciation for the man nicknamed the “Block Ness Monster”.

Robinson has quickly developed into a player the Knicks believe they can build around. Despite his name coming up in trade rumors during the offseason, New York held on to their center. They believe he has the potential to develop into a star player.

In addition to his blocked shots, Robinson led the league in field goal percentage at 74.2 percent this season.

Robinson is one of New York’s talent young players (along with R.J. Barrett, Frank Ntilikina, and Kevin Knox) that the team believes can turn the franchise around. While that hasn’t happened yet, Robinson’s highlights certainly show off his impressive potential.
