The Philadelphia 76ers will travel to Orlando for the NBA restart without sophomore guard/forward Zhaire Smith.

According to Derek Bodner of The Athletic, Smith will miss the remainder of the season with a bone bruise in his knee.

The Sixers will not be eligible to sign a replacement player, because Smith began experiencing issues before the Sixers convened for the training camp last week.

Smith had just 7 appearances with Philadelphia this season, being a peripheral player in the team’s roster mainly due to various serious injuries in his first two seasons in the NBA.
