Sports analyst Skip Bayless recently said LeBron James “will dearly miss Avery Bradley” because of how important the 30-year-old point guard is for the Lakers. As an example, he remembered how Bradley scored 6 three-pointers in the Lakers’ only win against the Clippers.

This time, Bayless evaluated JR Smith replacing Bradley in Orlando. “J.R. Smith will take and make impossibly big shots. He is fearless and coldblooded, he just doesn’t care. But what you did was replace a starter in Avery Bradley with a J.R. Smith who has not played an NBA game since 2018,” Bayless said on UNDISPUTED.

He further expanded on his point by tweeting the following: “It’s a significant downgrade to go from Avery Bradley to JR after he’s been out of basketball for almost 2 years. Scale of 1-10, I give this a 4.”
