Sports analyst Colin Cowherd is of the opinion that the Los Angeles Lakers roster needs a big boost this offseason. According to him, LeBron James will go after Bradley Beal who is “a perfect LeBron guy”.

“So now that Avery Bradley has left, one of the two-way guys that LeBron loves, look at this roster. Look at this current roster. What does it tell you? LeBron’s going big game hunting this offseason,” Cowherd said.

“They’re not gonna mess around with this nonsense. I’ll get out in front of the story and I don’t know if it could happen. But the guy I keep telling you LeBron’s gonna go after is Bradley Beal. I love Bradley Beal. I think he’s wasting his career in Washington. I’ve been told LeBron loves Bradley Beal. Bradley Beal is a perfect LeBron guy: plays both ends, smart, spacing, shooting, works really hard, totally committed, total adult, wasting his career on the other coast.”

With John Wall out for the season due to an injury, Beal emerged as one of the best scorers in the NBA. He is averaging 30.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game this season. The Wizards star is only behind James Harden in points per game.

It has been reported previously that the Lakers expressed interest in Beal at different points in the past.
