Former NBA player Ryan Hollins recently said Paul Pierce and his Celtics teammates considered LeBron James as “soft”. “That was our championship to walk away with, until then LeBron was seen as soft. We thought he wouldn’t show up in fourth quarters, we thought he wasn’t the real dude and when things got tight, he wouldn’t be able to go out and make plays,” Hollins told Brandon ‘Scoop B’ Robinson on Scoop B Radio Podcast.

Sports analyst Skip Bayless, who has said on many occasions that Michael Jordan is the GOAT, reacted to the quote via a tweet. He pointed at the fact that, unlike LeBron, the Chicago Bulls legend was never accused of being soft. According to Bayless, that is why James is disqualified from the debate on who the greatest player of all time is.

“I see another story about how Paul Pierce and the Celts considered LeBron “soft” in his 1st go-round in Cleveland and his 1st season in Miami. He WAS soft. Did any rival ever accuse MJ of being soft? NO! LAUGHABLE! That’s why LeBron is disqualified from the GOAT debate,” Bayless tweeted.

James is on a quest to win his fourth NBA title with a third different team this season. He is averaging 25.7 points, 7.9 rebounds and 10.6 assists per game for the Lakers.
