In 2002, one of the tallest players ever to step on the court, 7-7 Manute Bol, stepped in the ring with the former football player, William “Refrigerator” Perry. Manute’s length was the difference in the fight and Perry just simply ran out of gas at the end. Manute won the fight unanimously and donated all of the proceeds to his home country, Sudan.
