The Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers had a video call with the whole team of the Chicago Bears. During the call, the one-time NBA champion was asked about the leadership of Kawhi Leonard. Rivers told the Bears that The Klaw is quiet but became more vocal as the season went.

Bears players wanted to know about Kawhi Leonard’s leadership style. He’s quiet, Rivers told them, but became more vocal as the season went on.

“He’s got such a great ability in my mind of demonstrating the care for the players but being able to be candid with them,” McVay said.

In his first season with the Clippers, Leonard is averaging 26.9 points, 7.3 rebounds and 5 assists per game. The Clippers are in second place in the Western Conference, behind the top seeded Lakers.
