Rik Smits knocked down a shot as a time expired to lift the Indiana Pacers to a 94-93 victory at home over the Orlando Magic. The victory tied the Eastern Conference Finals at two games apiece.

With 13.3 second remaining Reggie Miller hit a 3-pointer to give the Pacers a two-point lead.

Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway responded by hitting an off-balance 3-pointer to give the Magic a one-point lead but there was still time remaining on the clock.

Indiana inbounded the ball to Smits, who pump faked and then calmly knocked down a jumper at the buzzer.

Smits finished with 21 points for the Pacers, while Miller had 23. Hardaway finished with 26 for the Magic.

Despite the incredible victory in game 4, Orlando prevailed, winning the series in seven games to advance to the NBA Finals.
