John Stockton hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to lift his Utah Jazz past the Houston Rockets 103-100 in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals. The road victory clinched the series and sent Utah to the NBA Finals for the first time.

The series was close throughout and so was Game 6.

With the Jazz trailing by two points and time running down, Stockton hit a floater to tie the game with with 22.4 seconds remaining.

Houston failed to score and with 2.8 seconds remaining, the game was tied at 100 apiece and the Jazz were inbounding the ball. Stockton got open and stepped into a 3-pointer at the buzzer, silencing the crowd in Houston.

Stockton was unstoppable in Game 6. He finished with 25 points, 13 assists and two steals.

Karl Malone was also excellent for Utah in Game 6. He finished with 24 points 11 rebounds, five assists, three steals and two blocks.

After years of postseason disappoint, the Jazz finally advanced to the NBA Finals.
