In a recent interview, Marc Gasol discussed playing during the coronavirus pandemic and the way that he views a possible resumption of the season in the NBA.

The Toronto Raptors’ center talked on AS, along with Sergio Scariolo and Ricky Rubio, about the season hiatus.

“There is no need to be afraid to play again. Yes, I respect it, because it is a virus that has proven to have a very negative impact, but once we start playing we have to do it 100%,” Gasol said, per Eurohoops.net.

The Raptors returned to practice facility this week with players working individually under strict guidelines, that the NBA set early in May. The first player to come back to the OVO Athletic Center was Malcolm Miller, per CBC.ca.
