EuroLeague star Mike James has reportedly re-signed with CSKA Moscow for two more years, as reported by iz.ru.

The deal will be signed once James returns to Moscow at the end of quarantine.

CSKA’s president Andrey Vatutin previously said he expects a 30 percent reduction in the budget for the 2020-2021 season, but this will not affect the plans to re-sign James.

James averaged 21.1 points, 3.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game this season.

The 29-year-old’s 21.1 points per game ranked third in the EuroLeague behind Shane Larkin (22.2) and Alexey Shved (21.4).

James originally signed a one-year deal with CSKA back in August.
