Reggie Miller and Jalen Rose both lit up Philadelphia 76ers for 40 points apiece. They led the Indiana Pacers to a 108-91 home victory in Game 1 of the 2000 Eastern Conference Semifinals.

They combined to go 10-15 on 3-pointers and 16-17 on free throws.

Allen Iverson had 28 points for the Sixers in the loss.

The Pacers were on the verge of being eliminated in the first round of the playoffs, but Miller scored 41 points, including 18 in the fourth quarter, and Travis Best hit a series-winning 3-pointer in a win or go home Game 5.

Miller and Rose led the Pacers past the Sixers in six games and then past the New York Knicks in six games in the Eastern Conference Finals, but fell to the Los Angeles Lakers in six games in the NBA Finals.

Rose averaged 20.8 points per game in 23 playoff games in 2000. Miller averaged 24 points per game in 22 playoff games in 2000. He was 34 at the time.
