Trikala BC is in shock after one of their star players, Jeremy Granger got hit by a car in a central avenue of Athens while trying to cross the street.
According to early information, the player has suffered fractures in both his legs after being run over by a car in Athens this morning, and as confirmed by his club he will be immediately taken into surgery. Eye witnesses claim that the player was spared his life by a miracle as the accident was very serious.
The club’s General Manager Christos Tsekos has already arrived to Athens to stand by the player and take care of his hospitalisation logistics.
The American point guard averaged 13.4ppg and 3apg in Trikala’s struggle to avoid relegation from A1 and his injury is a huge blow to the club.
UPDATE – Jeremy Granger broke just one leg and is currently having a surgery.
