Stephon Marbury reacted to the announcement that Kevin Garnett will be inducted in the NBA Hall of Fame.
Marbury was proud of his former teammate’s achievement, adding that Garnett deserved to be inducted in the Hall of Fame.
“It’s super cool for him. It’s deserved. He’s done a lot for basketball. He’s definitely made his mark on the game. Kev LOVES basketball. That’s his passion. That’s his love. When he gets on the court, that’s his life right there,” Marbury told Brandon ‘Scoop B’ Robinson of Heavy.com.
Marbury and Garnett played together for the Minnesota Timberwolves for three years (1996-1999).
