Chauncey Billups advanced to the semi-finals of the NBA HORSE Challenge by upsetting Atlanta Hawks superstar Trae Young.

“Like in 04, I was a huge underdog,” Billups said according to The Detroit News. “It felt good to once again surprise people.”

The Pistons’ legend held his own against one of the craftiest guards in the game today. Young was fourth in the league in scoring this season averaging 29.6 points per game.

Billups was the leader of one of the most prolific Detroit Pistons’ squad, which won the NBA title by upsetting the Los Angeles Lakers in 2004 NBA Finals.

The semifinals and finals of the HORSE Challenge will be televised Thursday night.
