Arturas Karnisovas made his first move as Vice President of basketball operations of the Chicago Bulls. According to Shams Charania, the Bulls hired Pelicans’ executive JJ Polk as an assistant general manager.

Polk worked seven years with New Orleans and was most recently their Executive Director of Basketball Administration.

As KC Johnson of NBCSChicago reported, Polk will not be the only hire with the Chicago Bulls planning to expand their front office personnel.

According to Jonson, the “Bulls historically have owned one of the smallest front offices in the league.” Prior to this, the Bulls had one assistant GM, who’d direct salary cap things and analytics.
