Basketball is a game where we get to see magic every single season. The players in the National Basketball Association make us jaw-dropped by their creativity and ingenuity. Their performance is so consistent that we are so sure that they are in their best form. Even the rising NBA talents are showing promises at the same time, and we cannot overlook their performance as well. However, the experience and expertise that the NBA most significant players have acquired will always remain superior in the industry. The established acts have to come with a top-notch performance every year, and they have to make sure that they do their best in the field to create and break newer records. After all, it is never easy to achieve the best spot in the best NBA players rankings.

Just like the other seasons, 2019/20 also has the big names at the top of the list for best players in the league. In this article, we are going to make a rundown of the top-10 best NBA players in 2020, who have made the best out of their magical skills in the 2019-20 season. We have compiled the rankings based on the performance and consistency of every single player.

Giannis Antetokounmpo

Being the most valuable player of the NBA in 2019, there is no doubt that Giannis Antetokounmpo has had one of the best seasons in his career. He has amazed the world by achieving the highest Player Efficiency Rating (PER) in the 2019/20 season, which is about 32.3. Without any doubt, Giannis has the most reliable engine within his body. Being just 24 years old, he has already been dominating both the attack and defense.

Kawhi Leonard

When it comes to the defense, Kawhi Leonard should come first on your mind. Nobody can deny the contribution of this great player behind the victory of Toronto Raptors to its first NBA Championship win in the 2018/19 season. Though there have been some issues with Kawhi due to his injury, he remains one of the best players in the league. After all, he has won the NBA Defensive Player of the Year two times in his career.

LeBron James

When it comes to LeBron James, everyone knows why he is on the list of the best NBA players. He has been in the top ten for many years. He has had better seasons than Giannis and Kawhi earlier in his career. During the playoffs, LeBron is the only player that everyone wants in their roster. There is an extra gear in his games. He is the winner in three NBA Finals and has won NBA Finals MVP in all three.

James Harden

Known as the king of the three-pointers, James Harden is one of the most consistent stars in the NBA. There is no doubt that Harden hits the impressive numbers in the NBA scores. Playing in the SG position on the Houston Rockets team, Harden never fails to amaze his fans and even his teammates. There have been some rumors going on regarding the trade of this player, but Houston Rockets are very lucky to have Harden on the team currently.

Anthony Davis

The Los Angeles Lakers have done a great job by purchasing Anthony Davis from the New Orleans Pelicans. After the move, Anthony has been showing promises and getting in line with the style of LeBron James. They both are fond of each other and like to praise each other in the media. The chemistry between these two geniuses is extraordinary. Anthony delivered the first point that spurred team LeBron in the All-star game.

Stephen Curry

The 2019/20 season is, without any doubt, one of the favorite seasons of Stephen Curry, and it will never go down in his books for sure. He is a six-time NBA All-star and has been in the association for quite a long time in the PG position. Though he has fallen in the official ranking since last year, he is still showing promises on the court and making his fans happy.

Bradley Beal

Bradley Beal did not let down on his outstanding performance in the 2019/20 season even as the hopes of a playoff spot for the Washington Wizards diminished. Though his name was left out of last season’s All-star, he never gave up on dominating on the court. He led the entire league in average points in February, and he holds the record for the longest 25 points game streak in the 2019/20 season.

Russell Westbrook

James Harden and Russell Westbrook made history with Houston Rockets in February 2020. They are the first duo in the NBA to register 30+ points and a minimum of 5 assists in the same month. Russell has ranked second in the NBA for average points earned in February. In the 2020 season, he struggled to find the hoops during the game, missing 8 out of 10 shoots. But then, he earned his first points towards the end of the third quarter.

Paul George

The momentum of Paul George in the last season was not good at all. He was one of the top finalists in the league MVP award and finished in the third spot. But, things began taking a downward path as he moved to the Los Angeles Clippers from Oklahoma City Thunder. He has been struggling since he fell out with injury. But, he has indeed been working on his betterment. It is undeniable he had a good season recently, and the fans are looking forward to more.

Damian Lillard

Without any doubt, Damian Lillard has had one of his best seasons recently. He has played 13 games in the NBA and scored 30 points since the beginning of the decade. The only problem for Damian is, his team is not having its best seasons yet, and it may ultimately affect the young budding star.

There you go. This is the top-10 NBA players ranking we can think of right now based on the 2019-20 season. What do you think? Do you believe that we have missed someone? If so, we would like to have your opinion as well.
