Shaquille O’Neal wasn’t mad he got in at No.8 on a new NBA all-time top 10 list doing the rounds on social media.

The former Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat big man said he would have probably pushed himself down to the 10th spot if it were up to him.

We’re a bit disappointed in the grammar, Shaq. But we have to let things slide when Shaq’s involved – we love us some Shaq.

While Shaq’s not disappointed with his spot, this list is pretty contentious. Hakeem Olajuwon ahead of Kareem? Tim Duncan ahead of Kareem!? Kobe at 6? Some might consider it flagrant. Shaq, though, has taken the high road with claims he would cede his placement to have Kareem and Bill Russell go 8 and 9 instead.

What a gentleman.
