Sweden have named their 12-team roster for the upcoming Eurobasket Women tournament in France.

Coach Lars Johansson has made a few surprises with veteran point guard Martina Stallvant missing out along with Agnes Nordstrom. Johanna Kallman was the third player to be released from the squad after the mini tournament last week that included Great Britain, Latvia and a Turkey B team.

Sweden indeed won the tournament in Sodertalje, where coach Johansson made his choice and there was certainly more pressure on space after the inevitable inclusion of naturalised small forward Ashley Key, whose arrival is a big plus for the Swedes.

The full roster is as follows: Malin Aasa (Norrkoping Dolphins), Frida Aili (Northland Basket), Kadidja Andersson (MBK Ruzomberok), Katarina Andersson (Solna Vikings), Anna Barthold (Northland Basket), Elisabeth Egnell (Norrkoping Dolphins), Elin Eldebrink (CUS Cagliari), Frida Eldebrink (Bourges Basket), Louice Halvarsson (CUS Cagliari), Danielle Hamilton-Carter (Georgia Tech), Ashley Key (Mark Basket Marbo), Stefanie Yderstrom (University of Miami)
