The EuroLeague will have a conference call on Wednesday to discuss the future of the 2019-2020 season. The travel restrictions around Europe, because of the coronavirus pandemic, prevent a normal meeting between the teams’ executives.
However, there will not be any final decision considering the extreme situation, but according to Nikos Varlas of Eurohoops.net, the EuroLeague Board is expected to confirm further suspending the current Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and 7DAYS EuroCup season beyond the initial date (11th April).
Any decision will depend on the health safety of the players and the fans, with the EuroLeague intending to conclude the season, whenever this is possible.
