The Denver Nuggets released a statement after a member of the organization tested positive for the coronavirus.

It’s unclear if the person is a player, staff member etc.

“The person, who was tested after experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19 on March 16, is currently under care of team medical staff and in self-isolation,” according to the statement.

Here is the full statement from the organization:

The Nuggets last played the Dallas Mavericks on March 11.

It was recently reported that the Nuggets were advised not to take coronavirus tests; instead, they should stay isolated for at least two weeks to prevent the virus from spreading to vulnerable people.
