The New York Knicks will try to improve their team in the coming offseason, which will start to an unknown point in time. Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the season is on pause, but the Knicks are thinking ahead, as Ian Begley of SportsNet New York said.

In particular, Christian Wood is on New York’s “radar” for the coming offseason. Before the NBA suspension, Wood was having a breakout season, as he was averaging 23 points, almost 10 rebounds and 2 assists on 34 minutes per game since the All-Star break.

The Knicks will have ample of cap-space to lure the young forward to New York. His current team Detroit Pistons will also have enough cap space to re-sign him, after trading Andre Drummond to Cleveland.
