Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green is not optimistic that the NBA will return to action soon, due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.

The three-time NBA champion says the league should play it safe with the coronavirus, but he is unsure when, and if, teams will play again this season.

“The only way I think they allow the season to start back up is if they come out with some stuff to say, ‘It’s not as bad as we thought’ or if they find some kind of cure.

Because otherwise, if they start the season back up and then somebody else catches it, then what? You can’t just quarantine a few guys for some days and then start it all back up. That shit ain’t going to work,” Green told Marcus Thompson II of The Athletic.

The NBA decided to suspend the season for at least 30 days after Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz were tested positive for the coronavirus.
