Anthony Davis missed a wide open three-pointer at the buzzer and the Brooklyn Nets held off the Los Angeles Lakers for a 104-102 victory.

With the score tied at 102, Spencer Dinwiddie hit a jumper over Avery Bradley with 28.4 seconds remaining.

Dinwiddie finished the game with 23 points and seven assists. Caris LeVert had 22 points and seven rebounds for Brooklyn.

LeBron James finished with 29 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists but missed a layup that would have tied the game with 11 seconds remaining.

The Nets’ victory keeps them six games ahead of the Washington Wizards with 18 games remaining for both teams as they battle for a playoff spot.

The Nets’ next game is Thursday at the Golden State Warriors.
