Former NBA player Donatas Motiejunas was recently contacted by the Phoenix Suns and Minnesota Timberwolves, according to Donatas Urbonis.
Motiejunas’ season with the Shanghai Sharks in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) has been put on hold due to the coronavirus.
He is in his third season in China and his first season with the Sharks.
In 28 games in the CBA this season, Motiejunas is averaging 22.8 points, 15.1 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game.
In his six-year NBA career, Motiejunas has averaged 7.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.
The outbreak of coronavirus has left players overseas uncertain about their future.
Chasson Randle recently reached a settlement to leave his CBA team and joined the Golden State Warriors on a 10-day contract.
