Tyson Chandler tells touching story about New York Knicks’ owner James Dolan

James Dolan has been one of the most criticized owners in sports. He is known for having feuds with fans, including film director Spike Lee, as well as former Knick, Charles Oakley. New York also has not made the playoffs since 2013.

While Dolan faces a lot of criticism, he has the support of Tyson Chandler, who spent three seasons with the Knicks.

In 2014, Chandler’s mother was diagnosed with cancer. Dolan let Chandler use his personal plane so that Chandler could travel to Los Angeles to visit his mother and then fly back in time to play for the Knicks.

Chandler’s mother died of cancer in 2016. He said he that he is appreciative of Dolan’s gesture and has nothing but respect for him.
