Wendell Carter Jr. played for the first time in almost two months. He had suffered a severe ankle sprain in a game against the Mavericks. He finished with six points and nine rebounds for the Bulls, but it wasn’t enough, as the Knicks won 125-115.

Kris Dunn and Lauri Markkanen remain out for the shorthanded Bulls, who have had to rely on Zach Lavine to carry them.

Lavine had 26 points but the Knicks outrebounded the Bulls 50-33. Mitchell Robinson was dominant and finished with a career-high 23 points, as well as 10 rebounds and two blocks.

The Knicks will look to keep the momentum going at home against the Rockets on Monday, while the Bulls will return home to Chicago for a game against the Mavericks on Monday.
