NBA analyst Chris Broussard told what he thinks about a scenario of LeBron James beating Giannis on the MVP title.
According to Broussard, without LeBron the Lakers would still be a playoffs team, while the same can’t be said of the Bucks. Giannis is much more important to his team than LeBron. The Bucks are having an amazing win-loss record, which can be compared to the teams from the past, who had at least two superstars in their roster.
“This case is just cut and dry. Giannis has the better traditional stats: points, rebounds. Giannis has the highest PER (Player Efficiency Rating) of all time – 32.02. LeBron now is 9th in the PER and 2nd in his own team. Giannis in addition to his offense is arguably the best defensive player in the league,” Broussard added.
