Barcelona coach Xavi Pascual has signed a new deal with the club keeping him until the 2014/2015 season.

Pascual, who lifted the 2010 Euroleague crown in Paris and finished third last season in Istanbul was out of contract once the Liga Endesa season was over but signed a new deal for two more years.

Since taking over from Dusko Ivanovic in 2008, 40-year-old Pascual has been very successful as a head coach, winning trophies in all four of his seasons. This includes the Spanish leagie titles in 2009, 2011 and 2012.

Barcelona have announced a press conference on September 28 to explain the club’s aims for the season ahead.
