Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum is having a breakout season. He has just made it to the NBA All-Star Game and is not stopping. The 21-year-old is averaging 30.3 points and 7.2 rebounds over the last ten games.
Seven-time NBA All-Star Tracy McGrady thinks Tatum is blossoming to a superstar in his third season in the league. T-Mac also noted that unlike the time when he entered the league, these days rookies get to play 35 minutes and get the feel for the game faster.
Another former NBA player Kendrick Perkins also acknowledged the progress that the Celtics forward is making, saying he entered the MVP conversation.
In his most recent outing, Tatum dropped 33 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, helping the Celtics win over the Jazz, 114-103.
