After eight years of playing abroad Giedrius Gustas is rumoured to be returning back to his home country Lithuania to play for VTB United league’s debutant Neptunas Klaipeda.
32 years old 190 cm tall combo guard has been preparing for the season with the team for some time already, and the two sides are close to reaching an agreement.
The former point guard of Lithuanian senior national team spent the last season in Poland, where he played for Turow Zgorzelec and averaged 7.1 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game in domestic competition.
Before G. Gustas had experience of playing in Greek, Latvian and Russian leagues.
After eight years of playing abroad Giedrius Gustas came back to his home country Lithuania and signed a contract with VTB United league’s debutant Neptunas Klaipeda.
