Joel Embiid looked strong in the 76ers win against the Hawks by 129:112 (41:24, 28:28, 22:40, 38:20). He scored 49 points (17/24 FG, 14/15 FT) in 36 minutes, rebounding 14, intercepting 3, and blocking 1. After he recorded α career-high in points, Embiid waited for his audience’s louder support to perform the little dance.

Joel Embiid’s 49 points are the most by a 76ers player since Allen Iverson dropped 53 on Dec. 23, 2005. He is the first 76ers player with 49 Pts and 10 Reb since Moses Malone in 1984.
