It is almost official: the Brooklyn Nets will have to deal without Kevin Durant this season. KD was pushed by Taylor Rooks of Bleacher Report to give a definitive answer on his return and he was clear about it.
“NO! No. The best thing for me is to continue the rehab, get as strong as I can and focus on next season,” Durant said per Net Income and Billy Reinhardt.
The two-time NBA champion has been out of action since suffering an Achilles tendon injury in Game 5 of last year’s NBA finals.
Meanwhile, the Nets are clinging on their playoff spot as they sit in seventh place in the East (25-28).
