Bozidar Maljković, the head coach of the Slovenian national basketball team, was formally presented as new coach of Croatian runners-up and first time Euroleague participants Cedevita Zagreb.

At 60, the deal with Cedevita will mark his return to Croatian basketball after 20 years when he arrived at Jugoplastika Split in 1986 taking over a talented, youthful team that won two European Champions’ Cup (Euroleague) titles, three Yugoslavian Championships, and three Yugoslavian National crowns.

One of the most successful coaches in Europe, having won a title with practically all the clubs he has led; including four Euroleague titles, with three different clubs (Jugoplastika Split, Panathinaikos, and Limoges). In 2008, he was named one of the 50 Greatest Euroleague Contributors

Maljkovic offically starts his new role on July 15.
