Real Madrid will face Barcelona in the finals of the 2012 Liga Endesa play-off finals after coming through difficult semi-final match-ups.

It was a come from behind series win for Real Madrid, as they needed five games to see off Caja Laboral, winning the decider 76-69 in the Spanish capital.

Novica Velickovic, who has been outstanding in this entire series, led Real Madrid again with 15 points with Felipe Reyes chipping in with 12 points and nine rebounds.

Another Madrid standout was Sergio Rodriguez, who hit nine points, dished out eight assists and got four steals.

Caja Laboral were led by Mirza Teletovic, with 14 points.

They will meet Barcelona in the finals after they edged Valencia 77-73 in game four to win the series 3-1.

After a closely contested first three quarters, the visitors showed enough grit and team play to get the job done in the final ten minutes. Barcelona were led by Juan Carlos Navarro’s 17 points and Pete Mickeal, who contributed 14 points and seven rebounds.

Nando De Colo led all scorers in vain for Valencia with 22 points as they fell short.

Game one of the Liga Endesa finals is on Wednesday.
