UMMC Ekaterinburg have named Olaf Lange as their new coach with wife Sandy Brondello as assistant.
The German head coach has had a similar role at Australian WNBL club Logan Thunder, leading them to a play-off appearance in his two seasons there. He also coached Ros Casares in the 2003/04 season.
Brondello is currently an assistant to Carol Ross at the Los Angeles Sparks.
They had reverse roles in 2010, as Brondello coached the WNBA outfit San Antonio Silver Stars with Lange as the assistant coach. Both though got the sack after just one season at the helm.
Olga Korstalyeva and Sabin Zhurais will also be on the UMMC coaching staff.
