Sandrine Gruda comes back to UMMC after a summer with Los Angeles Sparks. UMMC keep French International Sandrine Gruda as the player signed the extension for two years in 2013.

Gruda played this summer at Los Angeles Sparks (WNBA). In 36 games she recorded 3.9ppg and 3.1rpg. The last season Gruda played at UMMC Ekaterinburg. In 19 games she averaged impressive 15.7ppg, 6.5rpg, 2.1apg and 1.5spg. She helped them to win the league title and the cup.

Earlier the Connecticut Sun and Los Angeles Sparks announced a trade, where the Sparks received the rights to Sandrine Gruda who they signed, and the Sun received the 11th pick in the 2014 WNBA Draft along with a 2015 second round draft pick.
