Dragana Stjepanović/ KK Partizan

After beating Virtus Bologna with a score of 84:82, Partizan NIS qualified for the quarterfinals of the EuroCup before the match against Trento.

There were totally different halves in Paladozza Arena Bologna. During the first 20 minutes of the match, Aleksandar Đorđević’s squad was dominating the home court. And in the second 20 minutes, even without Nemanja Gordić, Partizan started its engines and turned around the game completely. Not even Miloš Teodosić and Stefan Marković were able to help their team against Andrea Trinchieri’s players in the second half.

Andrea Trinchieri again gave minutes to all his players and the man of the match was definitely Torrian Walden. The American guard finished the game with 29 points for an index rating of 33. Besides him, Rashawn Thomas was the only one with a double-digit score (10 points) in Partizan.

In Bologna, Miloš Teodosić dropped a double-double with 24 points and 10 assists (index rating of 30). Stefan Marković finished the match with 17 points (index rating of 23) and Julian Gamble added 11.

In the last 25 seconds of the match, Bologna was leading by 1 (82:81), but then Rade Zagorac stole the ball and scored for two. On the other side, Miloš Teodosić missed a three-point shot and Walden had defensive rebounds and was fouled afterwards. Torrian Walden was half-successful from the free-throw line. That was enough for Partizan to score its 4th win in the Top 16.

Before the last round of the Top 16 of the EuroCup, Partizan already has a spot in the quarterfinals and the home-court advantage.
