The Denver Nuggets are open to listening to offers for swingman Malik Beasley, but they are seeking a first-round pick in exchange.

After a solid breakout 2018-2019 season, Beasley’s scoring average has dropped from 11.3 points per game last season to 7.8 points per game this season.

His minutes per game have also dropped from 23.2 last season to 18.1 this season.

The 23-year-old is in his final season of his rookie contract and will be eligible for free agency after this season.

Therefore, the Nuggets will have to decide soon if Beasley is in their future, long-term plans.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are among teams interested in Beasley, but he is a secondary option if they can’t land D’Angelo Russell.
